

2023 IWD Article - Bendigo Advertiser - Madeleine first joined Annie North in 2008 as a family violence case manager. At the time the refuge was a communal house in the community, guarded by secrecy.

We spoke to Madeleine from Annie North, a women’s refuge and family violence service in Victoria's Loddon region, on her role as Client Services Practice Coordinator.

Zoe, one of Annie North's After Hours Client Support Workers, was a panel member on Family Safety Victoria's 'Family Violence Career Insights' online event sharing why she is passionate about her career in the Family Violence Sector.

"My Mum, Sister and I wanted to support a local organisation that supported women and children and were told about Annie North. When we visited Annie North, we were blown away; the passion and dedication of staff was infectious and the facilities and resources for women and children were amazing....."
